coin conditions mint state perfect uncirculated : The best condtion for coins. These coins are stamped out with polished polished Münzplättchen characterized. This shines the Münzfeld and the relief is weak and therefore stands out from the bottom starting strong and gives the coin a noble appearance.
choice uncirculated : This conservation applies to coins, which were not in circulation. They are not worn and most have small scratches incurred during production. Somewhat older coins have a patina, which is caused by oxidation. This is not harmful to the coin.
extremely fine : Excellent coins were usually only briefly in the circulation and have small flaws. The image is clearly visible in all parts. There are no major damage so far.
very fine : Most of the coins have this condition. They were some time in circulation and also have corresponding damage. The image must still largely be recognizable. Transcriptions need to be legible.
fine : Mostly only older coins are collected in this condition when there is a little better material. The coins are very worn. But they are still identifiable, i.e. Dates and mint marks are still there.
about good : The coins are in circulation through long heavily worn. Pictures and writings are at best seen in part. This condition is only interesting collectible items.
